About Centennial Home Security
A Colorado security installation company working the south-metro corridor, where the person who quotes your job is the person who fits it.
We would rather fix what you have than sell you something you do not need.
How We Ended Up Working Centennial
Centennial Home Security exists because of a pattern our technicians kept running into: homes full of security equipment nobody had explained. A keypad in the hallway with an unlabelled zone list, a camera aimed at a hedge, monitoring bills going out to a company that had been absorbed twice and no longer answered its own phone. The equipment was rarely the problem. The problem was that nobody had walked the house before selling the system, and nobody had stayed long enough afterwards to hand it over properly.
Our relationship with this community is built on the unglamorous half of the work. We test what is already in your walls before quoting anything new. We tell homeowners in Littleton and Southglenn when the honest answer is a fifty-dollar sensor rather than a new panel. We keep the service area small enough that the same faces come back for the service visit, and we answer the phone ourselves.
What Centennial Home Security stands for today is straightforward: security decisions made with the homeowner present, prices written down before work begins, and monitoring that never becomes a contract somebody has to fight their way out of. Everything else, the hardware brands and the app features, follows from those three commitments rather than driving them.
What We Are Trying to Do Here
Our aim is for every household we work with to understand their own security system well enough to use it daily without hesitation. A system that gets armed is worth more than a more expensive one that gets ignored because it false-trips or confuses people. That is the standard we measure jobs against.
We also intend to remain the company that gives the inconvenient answer. If a repair beats a replacement, if a camera position you asked for is a poor one, if a device you have seen advertised will not integrate cleanly, you will hear so plainly. Long-term trust in a community this size is worth considerably more than any single invoice.
Six Reasons Households Here Choose Us
Centennial is our daily route, not our fringe
Our technicians are in Centennial, Greenwood Village and Littleton every week. Local familiarity shows up in the small decisions: HOA-friendly mounting, camera angles suited to a cul-de-sac, and knowing which corridors to avoid at four in the afternoon.
Colorado licensing and insurance, on every visit
Every installer who enters your home is a licensed, insured low-voltage technician working directly for us. No subcontracted crews, and paperwork available in advance if your HOA or building requires it.
The price is fixed in writing
The figure you receive after the walkthrough is the figure you pay. Wiring complications in older Arapahoe County houses are our cost to carry, not a mid-job revision.
Monitoring with no contract
Month-to-month monitoring through a UL-listed centre, cancellable at any time, with your equipment remaining yours regardless. Nobody needs a lawyer to leave.
Repair-first on every service call
Diagnosis comes before replacement quotes. Reusing healthy sensors and existing wiring is normal practice here, and it is the reason takeovers make up a large share of our work.
The handover is part of the job
Every install ends with keypad practice, an app tour on your own phone, and a labelled zone list. Follow-up questions reach the same team that did the work, not a national support line.
Credentials and Coverage
We are a licensed and insured Colorado security installation company, and our technicians hold low-voltage credentials plus manufacturer certification on the alarm panels and camera systems we fit. Monitoring is provided through a UL-listed central station with live operators and redundant signal paths. Liability insurance covers all work performed on your property, and documentation is available on request before an appointment.
